A GPA’s Yewon Choi Performs at 2025 Young Artist Concert

We are proud to share that GPA’s very own Yewon Choi (최예원), a 7th-grade student at Global Prodigy Academy, was recently featured as a violin soloist in the Young Artist Concert hosted by the Jeonju Symphony Orchestra. The concert, held on July 24, 2025, at the Korean Sound Culture Hall, showcased the talents of promising young musicians from across the region.
Yewon has consistently demonstrated excellence in music, winning top awards in regional and national competitions. Some of her recent accomplishments include:
🎖 Gold Prize (1st Place, Highest Score) — 69th Honam Art Festival, hosted by Gwangju Ilbo (2024)
🎖 Top Prize & Scholarship (1st Place, Integrated Elementary–Middle–High Division) — 25th Mudung Art Festival (2023)
🥇 1st Place, Strings Division — 39th Korea Music Association, Jeollanam-do Branch Competition
🎖 Top Prize in Violin at both the 67th and 68th Honam Art Festivals
🥉 3rd Place, Strings Division — 1st Novo Philharmonic Orchestra National Concours
Yewon also completed the 2024 Jeju International Youth Orchestra Camp, where she received a special commendation for her participation and excellence.
